Since 2009, we have been training high school and college students and advisers in the skills they need to get ahead in newsrooms today. We've helped coach everyone from start-ups to Pacemaker-winning staffs, working to give each what they needed to get to the next level.
Media Now Summer Camp
This summer we will have in-person training July 10-13, at our Drake University Workshop in Iowa. Just our great team of Instructors and 100 other student journalists from across the country to level your skills up for the year ahead.
On-Demand Video Training Year Round
We also provide year-round on-demand training in a variety of areas from writing and photography to social media and video storytelling through our online training.
Leadership Training for Student Editors
Aaron Manfull and Sarah Nichols offer an annual Editor Training course that helps students evolve as leaders by giving them practical tips to manage their section or staff. You can learn more about the course and sign up here.
